Rare Earth Metals Inc. Announces Grant of Stock Options

THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire - Jan. 18, 2012) - Rare Earth Metals Inc. ("Rare Earth Metals", "RA" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:RA) (OTCQX:RAREF) (PINKSHEETS:RAREF) announces that, subject to regulatory approval, it has granted 2,825,000 stock options to directors, officers, employees and consultants of the Company. These options will be exercisable at $0.17 for a period of five (5) years from the date of granting.
