Diamond Frank Exploration Inc. Detects the Presence of a Major Magmatic System Mineralized in Copper-Nickel and Egp

28.03.2012  |  Marketwire
LAVAL, March 28, 2012 - Diamond Frank Exploration Inc. ("Diamond Frank") (TSX VENTURE: DOD) announces that following the INFINITEM geophysical survey, several anomalous zones were updated on the Commandant Property.

The anomalies are situated on a grid covering a highly magnetic zone associated with strong electromagnetic conductors. The highly magnetic zone observed corresponds to an important intrusion of rocks with ultramafic affinities and MgO values going up to 32%.

Alterations and typical ultramafic rock textures were observed. It is noteworthy that bordering the intrusion, a new showing consisting of copper-silver and palladium mineralization was discovered. The results have returned values of 0.7 % Cu, 5 g/t Ag and 55 ppb Pd.

The INFINITEM survey confirms the continuity of the electromagnetic anomalies previously detected with the airborne survey. Five conductors were interpreted and are all characterized by a moderate to high conductance. The ensemble of these conductors is oriented E-W.

The main conductors, with the most important being EM-03, were modelled in 3D with the goal of better planning the drilling campaign, which will begin shortly.

The 3D modelling results allowed the team to conclude that the EM-03 conductor reaches a depth of more than 800 meters.

The figures below illustrate the position of the major EM-03 conductor, in plan and section (view towards the East). (http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/EM03.pdf)

Seen in section (view towards the East) we notice the continuity at depth of the EM-03 conductor (in green), reaching more than 800 meters.

The presence of theses anomalies is confirmed by several geophysical surveys which were carried out on the Commandant Property.

The next step in validating this interpretation is to conduct a drilling campaign.
