New Gold Announces Pricing of $300 Million Senior Notes Offering

VANCOUVER, April 2, 2012 /CNW/ - New Gold Inc. ('New Gold')
today announces the pricing of its private offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 7.0% Senior Notes due 2020 (the 'Notes'). The offering is expected to close on or about April 5, 2012. New Gold intends to use the net proceeds of the Notes to fund the redemption of its 10% Senior Secured Notes due 2017 and for general corporate purposes.The offer and sale of the Notes will not be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the 'Securities Act'), and the Notes may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act and applicable state securities laws.
