Santa Fe Gold Appoints General Manager with Extensive Mining Experience

Santa Fe Gold Corporation (OTCBB: SFEG) is pleased to announce
the appointment of Mr. John White as Vice President and General Manager
of its wholly owned subsidiary, the Lordsburg Mining Company, which
operates the Summit silver-gold mine and Lordsburg processing facility
in southwest New Mexico. Mr. White has over 35 years of diverse mining
experience in exploration, project development, construction and
operations. A substantial part of his experience has been in New Mexico,
where he has held senior management positions with both mining and
construction companies. Mr. White holds a B.S. Degree in Geological
Sciences from the University of Washington and a M.S. Degree in
Geosciences from the University of Arizona.
