VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - April 26, 2012) - Fortress Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE: FST) ("Fortress" or the "Company") reports that it has received notice from the TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") that the Company has a Tier 2 Continued Listing Requirements Deficiency in relation to its assets and operations for a company classified as a Mining Issuer. The Exchange has placed the Company on notice with a deadline of October 16, 2012 by which the Company is required to provide a submission to the Exchange evidencing that it meets Tier 2 Continued Listing Requirements.In this regard, the Company reports that it is well financed and is continuing to review a number of projects in the resource sector for possible acquisition.
