Huakan International Mining Inc. Appoints Chairman and New Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - March 28, 2012) - Huakan International Mining Inc. (TSX VENTURE: HK) (the "Company") announces the appointment of Pengzhi Guo as Chairman of the Board of Directors to replace Deli Tian, who has stepped down as a Director and Chairman of the Board. Wenhong (Wilson) Jin has been appointed to the Board of Directors. The Board would like to thank Mr. Tian for his service to the Company.Pengzhi Guo has been a Director of the Company since 2010. Mr. Guo is a Senior Engineer with over 17 years experience in the mining industry, including mine manager and metallurgist for several operations and projects in China. Mr. Guo currently serves as the Assistant General Manager of Tianjin Huakan Group Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Tianjin Huakan Mining Investment Co., Ltd.
Wilson Jin, B.Sc., Senior Engineer, has served as Chief Geologist for the Company since October 2010 and was appointed VP Acquisitions in August 2011. He has 20 years experience in the exploration and acquisition of precious and base metals in Asia, Africa and North America. He worked in the Northwest Non-Ferrous Metal Exploration Bureau in China for 15 years and for Sino Gold Mining Limited for 2 years. Mr. Jin joined the Huakan Group in China in 2009, prior to joining the Company in 2010. He discovered a medium-sized gold deposit and made significant achievements in the exploration of claims adjacent to the Jinduicheng molybdenum porphyry deposit in China.
