NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE) -- Alcoa (NYSE:AA) operations in Monterrey, Mexico has been recognized by the Great Place to Work® Institute as one of the Top Ten Places to Work in Mexico in the Multinationals category. The facility - part of Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products - placed #1 in the Northeast Region. In 2011, Alcoa Monterrey was #12 on the national list; this time it climbed to the 7th spot among the 900 companies that applied.
For the first time, The Great Place to Work® Institute also recognized organizations that are top-of-class according to dimensions that constitute the Institute’s model. Alcoa Monterrey received the award for Impartiality – justice, fair rules and absence of discrimination.
