Golden Alliance Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP was reappointed as the external auditor of Golden Alliance and will hold office until the next annual meeting at such remuneration as may be determined by the directors of the Company.
The following board members stood for election and were dulyre-elected to the board: Joseph Grosso, Chairman, CEO and President, Nikolaos Cacos, David Horton and Augusto Baertl.
Mr. Grosso stated, "Golden Alliance extends warm thanks to Leonard Harris, John Gammon, David Terry and Normand Champigny, who did not stand for re-election in order to reduce the Board size. We thank each of these directors for their valuable contributions to Golden Alliance." Furthermore, Normand Champigny resigned as President and COO in order to pursue other interests. The Company would like to thank Mr. Champigny for his contributions and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
