Star Uranium Corporation Announces Change of Directorship

SASKATOON, June 25, 2012 - Star Uranium Corp. (SUV - TSX Venture) (the "Corporation") announced today that Mr. Doug Rissling has resigned as director of the Corporation for personal reasons, effective June 22nd, 2012. Mr. Kyle Kozuska, Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation, would like to thank Mr. Rissling for his past service to the Corporation.The Corporation also announced the appointment of Mr. Kulvinder (Kal) Matharu as director of the Corporation, effective immediately. Mr. Kal Matharu is the President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Tanzania Minerals Corp (TMC). Mr. Matharu has been actively bridging the business worlds of North America and East Africa for over ten years. Presently, he holds the position of President/CEO of TMC, which is a gold exploration company in Tanzania. He has acted as an advisor and consultant for North American companies and helped them to establish themselves in East Africa. Kal acquired his basic education in East Africa and completed University in Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Manitoba.
