QUEBEC, CANADA -- (Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2011) - Key Gold Holding Inc. (TSX VENTURE:KGH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Barrett as the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of the Corporation. Louis Lessard has resigned from the position of President and CEO and will stay with the Corporation as member of the Board of Directors.Specializing in corporate finance, operational, and marketing management, Mr. Barrett brings over 25 years experience with building and advising Canadian companies. Steve actively leads his management teams with a clear and pragmatic approach to driving business results, creating shareholder value, and achieving sustainable growth.
The Corporation thanks Mr. Lessard for his contributions to the Corporation as an Officer. Mr. Barrett's nomination is subject to regulatory approval.
Souart Gold Property
The Corporation has also advised Glen Eagle Resources Inc. and Rivercrest Resources Inc. that it will not pursue the Souart acquisition agreement. The terms of the original agreement are contained in the Corporation news releases of December 9, 2010 and May 17, 2011.
