Zone Confirms Labrador Trough Claims Registered in Company Name
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/18/12 -- Zone Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ZNR)(FRANKFURT: 7ZR) reports that further to its news release of August 29th 2012, in which the Company reported that it was notified by a third party of a potential dispute over certain claims pertaining to its Labrador Trough iron properties in the Nunivik region of northern Quebec, those claims are now all fully registered in the name of the Company with the Ministere de Ressources naturelles at Faune. The Company has also re-confirmed with the vendor and the staker of the claims that the agreements pertaining to the claims in question remain in full force and effect.
Currently the Company has, registered in its name, approximately 516 claim units (24,318 hectares or 60,091 acres) known as the Girard property and 345 claim units (15,889 hectares or 39,264 acres) known as the Moore-Ross property.
As stated in the August 29th 2012 news release, based on the facts as the Company understands them, the Company believes the third party claim is without merit and is prepared to defend its position.
