Archer Exploration Limited Campoona Baseline Environmental Studies Award
Adelaide, Australia (ABN Newswire) - Archer Exploration Limited (ASX:AXE) is please to advise that the contract to undertake baseline flora and fauna studies for the Campoona Graphite Project has been awarded to Golder Associates Pty Ltd.
Baseline flora and fauna studies are an important element for any future Program for Environmental Protection and Rehabilitation (PEPR) as required by the Department of Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy (DMITRE) prior to the grant of a Mining Lease. The studies will be undertaken during September - November 2012 to ensure data is collected during the Spring period.
Archer's Managing Director, Gerard Anderson, commented: 'The commencement of the environmental studies reflects management's confidence in the Campoona Project. It is a requirement of a PEPR that baseline flora and fauna studies are conducted across at least one Spring period.'
