Mosquito Reminds Shareholders of Deadline to Vote Gold Proxy to Protect Their Investment

VANCOUVER, October 9, 2012 - Mosquito Consolidated Gold Mines Ltd. ("Mosquito" or the "Company") (TSX-V: MSQ) today reminded shareholders of the fast-approaching proxy voting deadline, and urged shareholders to ensure that their completed GOLD proxy is received by no later than Friday, October 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. (Vancouver time). Mosquito is pleased by the support it has received to date but reminds shareholders that the final outcome may be close so every proxy is important, regardless of how many shares you hold. Mosquito also reminds shareholders that the last proxy that is voted is the one that will be counted. If a shareholder previously voted the other proxy, supporting management on the later-dated proxy will override the previous vote.
