TORONTO, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Merc International Minerals Inc. (TSX Venture: MRK) is pleased to announce it has changed its name to Nighthawk Gold Corp. ("Nighthawk" or the "Company"). The Company's common shares are expected to commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under a new symbol (NHK) at the opening of trading on May 1, 2012.Nighthawk Gold Corp.
Nighthawk is a Canadian-based exploration company focused on acquiring and developing gold mineral properties in the Northwest Territories. Its land position covers 222,203 acres or 900 square kilometres in the Indin Lake Gold Camp, located approximately 220 kilometres north of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
