TORONTO, Jan. 29, 2013 - Asher Resources Corporation ACN (TSX-V) (the "Company") advises that 250,000 stock options having an exercise price of $0.25 per common share for 5 years have been granted to a director of the Company. The options have been granted in accordance with the terms of the Company's 10% rolling Stock Option Plan which received shareholder approval at the Company's Annual General Meeting held on June 21, 2012.Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
