Huldra Silver to Advance Counterclaim Against CRMC Canadian Royal Mining Corp.
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/06/13 -- Huldra Silver Inc. (TSX VENTURE: HDA) ("Huldra" or the "Company") today announces that it intends to file a counterclaim against CRMC Canadian Royal Mining Corp. ("CRMC") in connection with the equipment and services that CRMC agreed to provide in connection with the Company's mill in Merritt, British Columbia.
The counterclaim will seek damages from CRMC for breach of its agreement to provide certain equipment and services for the Company's mill by failing to provide such equipment and services, as result of which, the Company was required to obtain equipment and services from other providers at substantial cost in order to bring the mill to its current operational state.
Huldra intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit by CRMC and its counterclaim will pursue the significant damages it has suffered which exceed by a wide margin the amount of $461,099 (plus lost profit, interest and costs) being claimed by CRMC in its lawsuit. The Company has previously demanded on several occasions that CRMC remedy the defaults but it has failed to do so. The Company has taken all of the required steps to ensure that the mill is operational.
