Tigray Announces the Addition of Ms. Mao to the Board

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired - Jul 29, 2013) - Tigray Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TIG) ("Tigray" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the addition of Ms. Ge (Anna) Mao to its Board of Directors. Ms. Mao replaces Mr. Wenshan (Wilson) Zhang as Director of the Company.

Ms. Anna Mao is a Deputy General Manager of Sinotech Minerals Exploration and General Manager of Beijing Donia Resources. Before joining Sinotech Minerals, Ms. Mao was CEO and Director of Worldtex Capital Resources Limited. She graduated from Beijing Institute of Technology University in 1991 and obtained her MBA from Richard Ivey Business School of Western Ontario University in 2003. Ms. Mao is also on the board of several public listed exploration companies in Australian Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange, including Chairperson of Enterprise Uranium Ltd., Director of Enterprise Metals Limited, and Director of Nickel North Exploration Corp. Ms. Mao has many years' experiences in overseas capital markets. Ms. Mao is a Canadian citizen and resident in Beijing.

Mr. Zhang resigned on July 25, 2013 for personal reasons to pursue other interests. The Board wishes to thank Mr. Zhang for his contributions and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours.
