NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES.PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwire - Jan. 16, 2013) - Marengo Mining Limited (TSX:MRN) (ASX:MMC) (POMSoX:MMC) - As announced on Friday, 11 January 2013, the restructure of Marengo Australia to redomicile to Canada by way of a Scheme of Arrangement (Scheme) was implemented.
On implementation, Marengo Australia's shareholders were issued common shares or depositary interests in Marengo Mining Canada Limited (TSX:MRN) (ASX:MMC) (POMSoX:MMC) (Marengo).
Marengo's name has now changed to Marengo Mining Limited effective from Monday, 14 January 2013.
Despatch of holding statements to the Scheme Participants entitled to receive CDIs and PDIs pursuant to implementation of the Scheme has occurred today.
Marengo will commence normal (T+3) trading on the ASX and POMSoX on Thursday, 17 January 2013.
