  Barrick Gold Corporation gab gestern bekannt, dass man die verbleibenden 32.016.675 Stammaktien von Equinox Minerals Limited, die Barrick noch nicht besaß, durch Zwangsabfindung erworben habe. Damit besitzen Barrick und seine Tochterunternehmen nun 100% der ausstehenden Equinox-Aktien auf voll verwässerter Basis.

  Equinox Minerals Limited veröffentlichte gestern die Ergebnisse des am 31. März geendeten ersten Quartals. Es folgt eine Zusammenfassung der drei Monate: Die Produktion der Lumwana Mine belief sich auf 28.621 Tonnen Kupferkonzentrat, verglichen mit Vorjahresquartal ist dies ein Rückgang um 6%. • Equinox Minerals Ltd. meldet Produktionsergebnisse

  Equinox Minerals Limited veröffentlichte am Montag die vorläufigen Produktionsergebnisse der zu 100% eigenen Lumwana Mine in Sambia für das erste Quartal 2011. In den drei Monaten produzierte die Mine 28.621 Tonnen Kupferkonzentrat. Im Vorjahreszeitraum hatte Lumwana 30.471 Tonnen ausgestoßen. Im Jahr 2011 rechnet Equinox bei der Lumwana Mine weiterhin mit einer Produktion von 145.000 Tonnen Kupferkonzentrat.

• Equinox Minerals Ltd. zieht Übernahmeangebot für Lundin Mining Corp. zurück

  Equinox Minerals Limited gab gestern bekannt, dass man das Ende Februar unterbreitete Übernahmeangebot für Lundin Mining Corporation zurückgezogen habe. Auch die im Rahmen des Angebots für den 6. Mai angesetzte Aktionärsversammlung wurde abgesagt. Equinox hatte zuvor angekündigt, Lundin für circa 4,8 Mrd. CAD erwerben zu wollen.
